Healthy Carpets Service Agreement

Appointment
Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation text with your appointment date and time, along with reminder messages as your appointment approaches.

Our minimum service charge is $220 ($300 for locations outside our service area).

Any changes to your appointment date or time within 72 hours of the scheduled service will result in an $80 rescheduling fee.

A parking space must be reserved as close as possible to your main entry door to allow proper equipment operation and maximum suction performance.

  • Please remove any vehicles from the garage prior to arrival if access is needed during cleaning.
  • Notify us in advance if the entry point is more than 20 feet from the parking area.

Carpet Cleaning
Our cleaning system uses both a high-pressure solution hose and a vacuum extraction hose connected from our service vehicle to your home.

  • The solution hose carries water up to 250°F and may cause burns if handled. Please do not move hoses during service.
  • Additional charges may apply for excessive soil conditions (e.g., carpets not vacuumed within one week).
  • While we strive for the best possible results, complete stain or soil removal is not guaranteed in a single cleaning.
  • A soil/stain guarantee may apply only to carpets maintained regularly by Healthy Carpets.
  • Please open all closets or areas you would like cleaned prior to our arrival. Closed areas will not be serviced.

Furniture Moving

  • Do not move furniture prior to our arrival unless requested or the piece is removed from the carpeted area. We need access to properly clean traffic areas.
  • We will move light to medium furniture (up to ~50 lbs) and place protective tabs underneath.
  • We do not move heavy furniture (75 lbs+), including but not limited to beds, dressers, hutches, or large sofas.
  • We do not move furniture containing electronics (TVs, computers, etc.). These must be cleared in advance if movement is requested.
  • If you choose to move furniture yourself, it must be completed before we arrive.

Liability: While we take all reasonable precautions, Healthy Carpets is not responsible for damage to furniture, flooring, or property resulting from the moving process or pre-existing structural weaknesses.

Additional charges may apply for furniture moving services.


Upholstery Cleaning

  • Uses the same hose system as carpet cleaning (high heat + suction). Do not handle hoses.
  • Please remove all personal items, loose cushions, and non-matching pillows prior to service.
  • Additional charges may apply for excessive debris (pet hair, toys, food particles, etc.).

Slip & Trip Hazards
You acknowledge that hoses and equipment will be present throughout the property during service.

  • Recently cleaned surfaces may be slippery, especially when transitioning from carpet to hard flooring.
  • Healthy Carpets is not liable for any slips, trips, or falls occurring during or after service.

Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitations

  • We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to loose carpet seams, weakened fibers, pet damage, or prior stains.
  • Certain stains (urine, dyes, bleach, wear patterns) may be permanent and not removable.
  • Drying times may vary depending on airflow, humidity, and carpet condition.

Illness Policy
You agree to notify Healthy Carpets if any household member has experienced cold or flu-like symptoms within 7 days prior to the appointment.


Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of services.
